Description

Bring Home A Complete Feast In Pure Bronze

When the whole family gathers, nothing serves a meal quite like pure Kansa. Kansawala presents its grand 56-Piece Kansa Dinner Set, a complete dining collection handcrafted from pure 78:22 Bronze (78% copper, 22% tin). Since 1945 — 75+ years — our skilled artisans in Sihor, Gujarat have beaten each piece by hand, carrying forward a heritage that turns everyday dining into a celebration.

From dinner plates and bowls to glasses, spoons, forks and serving ware, this all-in-one set has everything a large family needs to serve and savour a full Indian meal. Bronze is non-reactive, so your food stays pure — and in Ayurveda, eating from Kansa is traditionally valued for wellbeing.

How to live with it

  • Wash like any vessel — a normal scrubber and dish soap.
  • After washing, dry it with a normal cloth.
  • Serve, don't store. A wash brings back the shine.
  • The charcoal exterior smooths and settles the more you use it.
  • In the monsoon, a little colour change is normal.
  • Looked after simply, it serves for decades.

Kansa, The Metal Ayurveda Trusted

The Ayurvedic Kitchen

Kansa,
The Metal Ayurveda Trusted

In Indian homes, the metal on the table was never a small decision. It comes from Ayurveda, India's age-old science of health. Kansa, a bronze of copper and tin, was long the everyday choice, said to cool and settle the body with every meal, and it rings clear and true when struck. It is held to balance the tridosha, vata, pitta and kapha, aid digestion, promote gut health, and support healthy skin and hair.

Who We Make For

Drawn By The Beauty, Kept By The Story.

We make for every home that sets a table - the everyday and the celebration, the rooted and the far from home.

Bought once, kept for life, passed on — the metal, and the home, carried forward.

Why Kansawala

The Proof, Side By Side.

Most sellers ask you to trust the story. We ask you to check the metal.

Where the metal begins

Most who sell it, buy it. We make it - the whole difference.

Pure Copper And Tin, Weighed By Hand

Every batch starts as 78 parts copper to 22 parts tin, weighed by hand at our own furnace. Most sellers buy metal already mixed elsewhere; we measure ours ourselves, so we know exactly what's in it.

Shaped By Hand Or Mould

Hand-beaten pieces are shaped cold, blow by blow under the hammer, so each one is lighter, tougher, and a little different from the next. Cast pieces are poured molten into a mould, giving a heavier, uniform piece every time. Most sellers carry only one of these; we make and stock both, in every size.

Polished Where You Eat, Untouched Where You See

The inside is buffed to a smooth, food-safe surface, ready to serve from. The outside is left exactly as the fire made it, a natural dark tone that no imitation metal can fake, so you can see the purity, not just be told about it.

Tested In Real Lab

Before it leaves our workshop, every batch is checked at an NABL-accredited lab for its 78:22 purity and food safety. Most sellers just state a ratio. We hand you the lab report.

Shipped Directly From Sihor

Every piece is inspected by hand, packed, and dispatched the same day from our workshop in Sihor, Gujarat, straight to you, with no distributor or middleman in between.

Neither is better — it is the method. Hand-beaten is lighter, finer, and tougher under a knock, and carries the maker's marks. Cast is heavier and uniform. Both are the same pure 78:22 Kansa.

The charcoal exterior is the fire's own mark of purity — pure Kansa blackens, impure turns pale. The raw outside protects the strength of the piece and smooths with use.

Yes. The metal is non-reactive and passes food-contact lead testing. Serve in it, don't store overnight, and wash it like any vessel.

Wash with a normal scrubber and dish soap. A wash brings back the shine. Serve, don't store — looked after simply, it serves for decades.

Bring any Kansawala piece back for store credit toward your next, valued at the day's metal rate. Even damaged, it is still pure bronze — the value holds.

11" for everyday, 12" for a generous plate, 13" for a feast. It is the same six-piece set — only the thali grows.
