A very beautiful hand crafted Bronze plate for my personal use. The edges are smooth and the base is stable and flat. I specifically like the hand beaten marks and burned base, which symbolise the authenticity of the age old handcraft craftmenship giving it an antique look. With regular use and wash, the base is looking even more beautiful.

The material and product was very good however 1 item was missing. The kansa glass was missing from the baby gift set.
I never had any issues with items in my other orders and with same trust and faith I had ordered the baby gift set for my grand daughter and was disappointed and shocked to know that the baby glass was missing.

Thank you once again for your feedback and for trusting Kansawala with your special order. We understand your concern and truly regret the disappointment caused.
After thoroughly reviewing the matter, we would like to share the following: Your order was packed and dispatched on 24th May, and delivered on 28th May. Initially, in your review on 19th June, you mentioned that the Kansa baby glass from the baby gift set was missing. After we followed up with you, you later informed us that instead of the baby glass, it was actually 2 regular Kansa glasses that were missing.
To investigate, we checked our packing records and checklist, which are followed carefully for every order. While our packing is normally done under CCTV surveillance, the footage for 24th May was not available, as our CCTV recordings begin only from 27th May. We also verified the shipment weight with Shree Maruti Courier, which was exactly 5.47 kg, matching the expected weight of the complete order.
We always strive to maintain transparency and accountability, but we also rely on timely communication - ideally within 3-7 days of delivery - to resolve any issues while the case is still verifiable. As this issue was reported nearly three weeks after delivery, and after the items were gifted, and also since the details changed from a missing baby glass to two large glasses, it becomes extremely difficult for us to take any action from our side.
While we understand this may be disappointing, we hope you can also understand our limitations in such rare cases.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to resend or replace the items at this point.

It would be still worth if the bottom of the plate was also polished

However, please note that our Kansa utensils are handcrafted using traditional heat-forging methods, resulting in a natural charcoal-black finish on the outside, particularly the base. This is not a flaw or coating, but a sign of authentic craftsmanship and purity. Over time and with regular use, this finish fades to reveal the beautiful natural tone of Kansa underneath.
