This is not a flaw or coating, but a sign of authentic craftsmanship and purity. Over time and with regular use, this finish fades to reveal the beautiful natural tone of Kansa underneath.

Very beautiful and quite heavy. Capacity is just as described to the rim. But one of the spoons has a few scratches, gives character and acknowledges the handmade craftsmanship. Great value for money!
